What is "Kadayif" ?

"Kadayif", is also known as "Ekmek Kadayifi", is one of the oldest Turkish Cypriot deserts on the island of Cyprus. . 

Today Ekmek Kadayifi is a well known desert of the Turkish Cypriot cuisine.  If you visit a  Turkish Cypriot house, you will be offered a traditional Turkish coffee followed by an "Ekmek Kadayifi". This delicious sweet is served cold with an ice-cream.

To cook this sweet sound easy. Anyone can cook an Ekmek Kadayifi. the most important thing which gives the taste is; preparation and the formula of the syrup and cooking techniques.
